Church can be a fun and exciting place to learn about life and God. Your kids will love it here!
Connecting Pointe Kids is dedicated to meeting children wherever they are on their spiritual journey with Jesus. We minister to kids from birth through 5th grade, providing them with age-specific, developmentally appropriate, and fun worship experiences. Through creative lessons, games, videos, stories, music, and friendships, your child will have meaningful opportunities to grow in faith.
While you’re in worship service, you can have peace of mind knowing your child is in a safe and loving environment. We know they’ll love being part of Connecting Pointe Kids, and they’re always welcome to join at any time!
For the safety of all children, parents or guardians must present the child's claim sticker at pick-up. Children will only be released to the adult with the matching sticker. If the sticker is lost, please see a ministry leader for assistance.
During the check-in process, please make a note of any allergies your child has. This is so we may better know how to care for your child. Your child’s name tag will note any mentioned allergies.
If your infant or toddler is exhibiting any of the following symptoms or has any of the following diseases, please DO NOT bring them to the nursery:
Fever of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or greater
A runny nose is associated with illness
Vomiting in the last 24 hours
Diarrhea in the last 24 hours
Impetigo
Chicken Pox
Measles
Mumps
Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
If your child is being treated with antibiotics, they must be on the medication for a minimum of 24 hours before returning to the nursery. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a healthy environment for our babies.
For the safety of all children, check-in is required at the check-in station, where each child receives a name tag and parents are given a claim sticker that must be returned at pick-up. Children will only be released to the adult with the matching sticker, and check-out must be completed both at the check-in station and with the classroom teacher. Our check-in team also serves as designated safety personnel during services. All volunteers and teachers are background checked and trained through MinistrySafe to ensure a secure and nurturing environment.
Nursery
In order for a child to promote from Nursery Ministry to Preschool Ministry, the child MUST be at least 3 years of age AND fully potty trained (no pull-ups). The first Sunday of each month will be Move-up Sunday.
This will help us accomplish two things:
It will allow our nursery volunteers to say goodbye to children with whom they’ve bonded.
It will give our preschool volunteers time to prepare for the arrival of new children.
Please mention (one month prior) to our volunteer staff that your child will be turning. This will help us transition your child accordingly.
Pre-K
Students who complete Preschool and are entering Kindergarten will be promoted to Elementary Kids Worship. Promotion will be at the beginning of each school year. There will be a designated Sunday on which we will promote these students.
Elementary
Students who complete 5th grade may choose to attend either Connecting Pointe Kids through the end of summer and promote at the beginning of their 6th grade year, or they may begin attending Connecting Pointe Youth at the start of summer following the completion of 5th grade.
Our purpose in Nursery Ministries is to partner with your family and support the early faith development of your child. We are committed to providing a safe, loving, and worshipful environment where even the youngest hearts can begin to learn about Jesus.
Each week, your baby or toddler will experience the love of Christ through songs, simple Bible stories, snack time, and lots of interactive play with other children. Our caring volunteers are trained to nurture your child and help them feel secure and at ease while you're in service.
When dropping off your child, please let our volunteers know the last time your child ate and was changed. After check-in, a nursery team member will warmly welcome your child and help them settle in. For everyone’s safety and security, only trained nursery volunteers are allowed in the nursery space.
A snack is provided each week for all nursery children while in our care. Goldfish Crackers, Animal Crackers, and Cheerios are the provided snack. One of these choices will be provided. If your child is unable to have the snack provided, please let our nursery volunteers know.
If you bring a bottle or sippy cup for your child, it will need to be labeled accordingly. This will help us ensure you receive the correct cup when picking up your child. Thank you for your cooperation.
We understand it is sometimes difficult for a child to transition into the classroom. Therefore, we allow children a 10 minute cry time before alerting their parents. Parents will be notified of needed assistance by a text/phone call.

Our Preschool Ministry provides a safe, loving, and engaging environment where little ones can begin to discover God’s love in age-appropriate ways. Each week, our preschoolers enjoy a time of fun and learning that includes a Bible-based lesson, interactive worship, and hands-on activities that help bring the story to life.
Children participate in singing and worship tailored just for them, followed by a short, engaging Bible story. They also enjoy themed coloring sheets and creative crafts that reinforce the week’s lesson. Guided playtime allows kids to build friendships and burn off energy while being cared for by trusted volunteers.

In order to fully minister to, and best meet the needs of each preschool child, all children must be fully potty trained (no pull-ups). Our Preschool department is not equipped with changing tables to care for children in diapers. We certainly understand accidents may happen and will address situations when they arise. Thanks for your cooperation with this.
Our Elementary Ministry is designed to help kids grow in their relationship with Jesus through fun, engaging, and meaningful experiences each week. We focus on monthly mini-series that explore key themes of faith and character in ways kids can understand and apply to their everyday lives.
Each Sunday, kids are encouraged to bring their Bibles as we learn how to navigate and read them together. We dive into Scripture, unpack big ideas, and create space for deeper conversations through discussion questions in both large and small group settings.
Our time together also includes group games that reinforce the lesson, and moments for connection and fun with peers. We’re passionate about helping kids build a faith that lasts and a community they love being a part of.
